PAPER PRESENTATION

Infractionz '08 offers you a platform to showcase your research ideas and promises to reward the 'geek' in you. We give you a chance to present your work before our elite panel of judges.

Do you think your new idea could be the next big thing in your field ? We are here to encourage and support you.

PAPER PRESENTATION TOPICS
  • Artificial Intelligence.
  • Signal Processing.
  • Wi-Fi, Zigbee.
  • Bionics.
  • VLSI.
  • Embedded Systems.
  • Recent trends in Electronics and Communication.

FORMAT

Mail in your abstract to infractionz08@gmail.com ( subject: Paper) on or before 6/03/2008.

The abstract must include the following:

» Title of the paper.
» The proposal (not exceeding 300 words).
» Name, College, Department and Year of Study of the Participants.
» Contact Number, email id (of at least one team member).


FINAL PRESENTATION

The list of selected papers will be put up on the website on March 8. The selected participants will also informed by e-mail and a confirmation of participation is expected by 10th March.

Bring 2 Hard copies ( of the complete paper) and 1 soft copy (Powerpoint Slides).

Presentation time: 7 + 3 minutes for Q & A.

RULES
  • Maximum of two members allowed per team.
  • The team members need not be from the same college/department.
  • Selected candidates should confirm their registration, failing which students in waiting list will be called on.
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Last date for confirmation: 10/03/2008.

CIRCUIT DEBUGGING



This event is for those of you gifted with basic electonics skills(?), conceptual thinking, imagination, testing and debugging skills. Do you think that you can race against time and debug hard to find circuit errors prepped by the very best brains from JEC ?

RULES
  • Maximum of 2 per team.
  • Prelims will be a written test.
  • Five teams will enter the final.
  • Incase of a tie between teams time taken for completion will be considered.

CIRCUIT DRAWING


Living in with electronic components and circuits sometimes makes one forget the very basic tenets of the subject. This is an occupational hazard of being a engineering student.

So, we respect students who've survived this phase and have still managed to retain the basics of circuitry and electronics.

P.S: In this event every participant will be treated as a winner.
